This website is automatically updated every 5 min with weather observations from a custom set of sensors located in Johns Creek GA. Weather data is received and sent to a weewx software install which archives the data and generates the live website feeds. The weather station provides the following weather readings:
- Temperature (4 different sensors)
- Humidity (3 different sensors)
- Barometric Pressure
- Soil Moisture
- Soil Temp
- Wind speed
- Wind direction
- Rainfall
Additionally the following air quality sensors are installed (check on the Air Quality Button on additional graphs)
- dust
- CO
- CO2
- O3
- NH3
- NO2
- C2H5OH
- C3H8
- CH4
- H2
- Radiation / From Geiger Counter uSv/hr
The following sensors I have, and are in the process of being integrated (some SW and HW issues to resolve).
- UV
- Solar radiation
- Lighting Strikes and Distance
- Sound (need to find way to calibrate to dB)
The rest of the observations on this website are done via software calculations and quality control checks to make sure the data is valid.
Software used:
- weewx weather station software
- HighCharts for the various charts on the website
- The Belchertown skin theme built for weewx
- MQTT as the message broker for feeding data into the system from the sensors.

- Forecast data from Darksky (at least for a little bit longer)
